Crazy Week if you need it spelt out. Conference was better than most years but still left me tired and very bored over all. Mon, Tues, Wed 8:30 AM - 9 or 10ish. The business of the Eastern District and votes on joining the east and west. We are one by the way. sounds like a bundle of laugh for anyone eh. Actually it wasn't that bad. Great to chatch up with people and I did get to present (in under 5 min) the new emergent work as they called it. I did not want ot go public with the GIG yet incase that is not the name we rest on.
Heard a guy named Milfred Minatrea speak -Author of God shaped dreams or somehting to that effect. Don't let his name fool you folks totally cool what he said. Confirmed for me that we need to be planting missional churches and leave the maintenance of the saints to some other church. Phil Delsault also spoke on stepping out in faith. Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see (Hebrews 11). totally cool to be affirmed by God to step out in obedience again.
Our boy was sick, I mean really puking, many times, everywhere type of sick - from Sunday to Thursday this week. Since I was away in St Cahterines at conference Bec had to take those days off work and linc was literally attached to her until late Wednesday afternoon. She is tired and worn down.
Bec lost her voice an hour before her Gig last night. She still played music and shared her story and the meaning behind the music. The Holy Spirit went wild and was allowed to do his thing. Bec prayed with many women and cried with them as well. Guess God knew Bec would lose her voice and had other plans eh?
I met with a guy from Vision ministries yesterday. They are really pumped about partnering with us. They ahve been doing this for a while and have planted over 125 churches total. It was so cool to be around a person who dreamed and was not afraid of the hurdles but wanted to ensure us that God loves risk takers for Him. They have offered full partnership with us. They have asked us to go check out other options, see if there is more money than they have to offer and will still even Coach me even if they don't financially support us. Okay is that cool or what!!! I left the meeting at Denny's full of coffee, banana cream pie, confidence and hope of things to come. Woah babe time to say it now God is Good so Bite Me! Just to make the bite a little more juicy. The events promoter from the city of Kitchener has been calling us constantly to ensure a relationship with those who will be lease holding the theatre. He wants to send alot of business our way from the city and film and Television industries. K. God must have one hekc of a smorgasbord ready y'all.
Going to watch one of my fav actors Sean Penn in this new Richard Nixon flick. Will tell you how it pans out.
